2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. By using MicroSteps, you represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to accept these Terms.
3. Operator

4. What MicroSteps is
MicroSteps is a productivity and task-organization tool. It is not medical care, therapy, crisis support, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for professional advice.
5. Account responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account.
6. AI-generated suggestions
MicroSteps may generate suggested next steps and other outputs using AI. AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing them and exercising your own judgment before acting.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, abuse, attempts to compromise the service, automated scraping, resale of access, attempts to bypass usage limits, or misuse of AI features. See our Acceptable Use Policy for additional detail.
8. Paid plans
Paid plans are not currently available for purchase. Planned pricing may be shown for informational purposes. When paid checkout becomes available, pricing, renewal, cancellation, taxes, and refunds will apply as described at that time. Checkout and billing are planned to be handled by our merchant-of-record payment provider (we plan to use Lemon Squeezy once paid checkout is enabled). This section does not imply that paid subscriptions are currently for sale.
9. Founder Pass and promotional offers
Any Founder Pass or similar promotional offer, if offered in the future, will be described at the time of availability. No Founder Pass or lifetime entitlement is currently offered for public purchase through these Terms.
10. Refunds
Refund terms will apply once paid checkout is enabled. Planned first-time purchase refunds may include a limited money-back window as described in our Refund Policy when purchases become available. Refund requests can be submitted through the Contact page.
11. Intellectual property
MicroSteps and its branding, software, and content are owned by the operator of MicroSteps. You retain ownership of content you submit to the product.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security threats, unlawful behavior, or violations of these Terms.
13. Service availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MicroSteps is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
